This place is always busy, but the service is great! You can dine in, call ahead or wait for take-out. Food is freshly prepared and tasty. The teriyaki chicken and shrimp are delicious. You get 2 scoops of rice, white or brown, your entree and a simple salad. Portions are large enough for me to have yummy leftovers. Huge variety on the menu, which I'm still working on, trying everything. I've never been disappointed with the food or service. Enjoy this little jewel! Tip: Remember to bring a large bag or tote if you order take-out, since Gig Harbor banned single-use plastic bags.

I love coming here. I can get food for my whole family including my own lunch for the next day all without spending to much money. Food is prepared fresh and it’s always cooked perfectly. The Egg Drop soup is my absolute favorite. I take everyone here when they come to town because they are fast and always so friendly. Thank you!

My favorite place to order take out. The people here work very hard and the food is amazing. I can smell the food cooking from my house less than a block away and its intoxicating. In a good way of course. :)

I could eat here every day. Great food, HUGE portions, good price, excellent service. This is one of my very favorites. I will continue to visit at least once a week for as long as they will have me.

This restaurant, and the people who work there, feel somehow like family to me; like family you are just meeting for the first time, and you know right away, it's very unlikely your last. Everything we have tried is delicious, served in massive portions, or both! One of our favorite stops to pick up (run into Albertsons real quick, like so many others) or dine comfortably. Their soup is a treasure, and is often included free, even with pick-up orders. At first I thought they were being unwise giving away something so good for "free", until I realized that what they give you just makes you want more, like, if not today, at least sometime this week... Unlike some places (I will no longer publicly mention), they still include wasabi & pickled ginger when you get to splurge for a bento. White, brown, or fried rice ($1) comes as optional on most meals. I like the sauces I have tried, extra is available at modest cost. For us, we get enough for at least two meals each, which makes it an especially good value, IMHO. Everyone here works **** extremely **** hard, not just the one nice lady you see, in a city which can be particularly oblivious to how difficult it is to work in the (for most people) unrewarding food service industry. If you value anything I have written here, I would ask that you try and be as nice as possible when you visit my "family".
